　　 The Danish consul in Guangzhou, Jens Alsbirk and his wife Hanne K. Alsbirk, visited Fuda Cancer Hospital on the afternoon of November 10th, 2008. They came to visit Danish patients receiving treatment at the hospital and held a dialogue session with them and their family members. The main purpose of the visit and the dialogue session was to find out the progress of the patients, especially those with pancreatic cancer, in their treatment and their life at the hospital. The consul expressed his gratitude to the hospital for the professional treatment, good care and quality services provided to the Danish patients.Denmark is one of the countries in the world that provides her citizens with the best medical protection. The Danish government has a provision that Danes who suffer from critical illnesses especially cancer, and who cannot be treated in Denmark, can go to a second country to receive treatment with expenses fully borne by the government. Danish patients would normally go to countries such as the USA, UK, France and Germany for medical treatment, but not to China. This is where the controversy is. Representatives of the Danish Cancer Society and media reporters from Denmark have come to Guangzhou to visit our hospital. They have reported on the special features of our cancer treatment using cryosurgery and immunotherapy.
