Most hospitals recommend a combination of radiation, chemotherapy, and surgery. Several of our specialties include cryosurgery, brachytherapy, and photodynamic surgery; each therapy ideal for different types of cancer.
Cryosurgery is quickly becoming an alternative to traditional surgery. By using cryoprobes that are inserted in and around the tumor, the probes create extreme cold temperatures killing the tumor. By leaving the newly dead tumor in place, it releases antigens that enhance the body's natural ability to fight cancer. This method is minimally invasive, faster, more effective, and less painful than the conventional surgery option. To date, the hospital has performed over 4,000 cryosurgeries.

This process takes less time to work and does less damage to surrounding tissue, unlike conventional surgery.
