A group of cancer experts representing the Danish Cancer Society arrived in Guangzhou on August 10， 2009; accepting the invitation from Prof. Kecheng Xu to attend the Shenzhen-Hong Kong 2009 Gastroenterology Forum. After the last day of the form, the group paid a visit to Fuda Cancer Hospital in Guangzhou.
On the morning of Fuda Hospital's International Seminar on Treatments for Unresectable Cancer, Danish expert Dr. Alexei Kirkine presented his report on “Research on DC Stem Cell Therapy”. Later that day, the group of Danish cancer experts observed a live demonstration percutaneous cryosurgery for hepatic and lung cancer.

Fuda Cancer Hospital is one of the international hospitals Danish cancer patients choose for treatment. Last year, 101 Danish patients were admitted to Fuda Cancer Hospital for treatment. All of these Danish patients had advanced-stage cancer and previously had treatment in their home country's local hospitals, though without good results. After receiving treatment at Fuda, most patients experienced obvious improvements, prolonged life expectancy and/or an improvement in their life quality.
Last year, Danish Cancer Society had arranged for their representatives to visit our hospital twice. Prof. Kecheng Xu, Prof. Lizhi Niu, and Prof. Feng Mu also visited Denmark and the Danish Cancer Society in order to build greater understanding between Fuda Cancer Hospital, and the medical professionals from Denmark.
During this visit, the Chairman of Danish Cancer Society “Helpline,” Dr. Finn Tonnesen, was present. During his visit to Fuda, he told Prof. Kecheng Xu，“This visit deepened my understanding about China and your hospital. Your treatment method strategies are on the right track, allowing patients to have one more option, one more hope on life. We also see that after treatment in your hospital, there really are a lot of patients with very good results. To this we express our appreciation, and also our gratitude.”
