On November 19-24, 2009 Annie Rasmussen, a former head nurse from Denmark with experience working in United States and Europe came to Fuda Cancer Hospital-Guangzhou to learn about our innovative cancer treatments. During her visit, she spoke with Danish patients and learned about their medical condition and psychological condition, while also observing several TACE and cryosurgical operations. During the discussions with head-nurses, ward nurses, ICU nurses and nurse-aids held at Fuda's multi-purpose learning hall, apart from discussing about the differences in nursing and caring for patients between the two countries, Annie also shared her views on the latest trends on meditation, positive thinking and yoga on pain management and healthy lifestyle. Annie also praises Chinese healthy diet which consists of more rice, more vegetables and less meat. When asked about her objective coming to Fuda, Annie said that she wishes to learn about Fuda so that she can best advice Danish patients where the best cancer treatment is available, especially when there is nothing more that can be done for them in their home country.
