On Aug 19th, the famous interventional Radiology expert Prof. Hori, who is the President of IGT (Image Guide Technology) Hospital and his delegation from Osaka, Japan visited our hospital. The General Manager Mr. Zuo Jiansheng, Vice President Prof. Yang Daming, Prof. David Chiu M.D. and Prof. Piao Xianghao M.D. etc. of Fuda Hospital welcomed them in the welcoming ceremony held in the Multipurpose Hall. After listening to the introduction of Fuda Hospital, Prof. Hori watched Fuda Hospital's video. At present, the hospital where Prof. Hori serves treats cancer mainly with blood vessel embolisation. In line with the plan to implant other treatments to his hospital, Prof. Hori was very keen to learn more about the development of cryosurgery from Fuda Hospital. He also showed great interest to the fact that that a lot of international patients seek treatments in Fuda Hospital. He expected the two hospitals would develop cooperation in multiple aspects in the future. Accompanied by the leaders of Fuda Hospital, Prof. Hori visited the ward, cafetaria for international patients, and asked about the detailed treatment condition from international patients.In the following two days of his working visit, Prof. Hori had learned more about Fuda Hospital, and discussed about preliminary cooperation in the near future. On Aug 21st. both hospitals participated in an academic exchange discussion, and Fuda appointed Prof. Hori as an Honorary Consultant.
